Pedro Matos Godinho holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2003), from the Technical University of Lisbon, and The Lisbon MBA from Católica Nova Schools of Business & Economics (2009). He has experience in several multi-national companies performing business development, strategic planning, network operations, R&D and product management, in different industry sectors such as Telecom, Paper and Energy.
Having started his career in Siemens R&D department, he moved to Huawei, performing strategic deployment of mobile business in all the Portuguese telecommunication operators.
He is currently working in EDP Distribuição, with Business Development responsibilities in the Inovgrid project, the Portuguese EEGI Core, smart grid project. He has also been coordinating EDP Distribuição participation in several projects at European level: EcoGrid, Grid+, Reservices, evolvDSO, Grid+Storage and UPGRID, among others, and leading the FP7 SuSTAINABLE and the H2020 InteGrid projects. Since 2014, he was nominated EDP Distribuição representative in EDSO Projects Committee.
