Ben Voorhorst is a member of the Board of Directors of TenneT Holding B.V. and COO of TenneT TSO B.V. in The Netherlands and member of the board of TenneT TSO GmbH in Germany, as well as Vice-Chair of the Board at ENTSO-E.
In the past Ben Voorhorst occupied various management positions within TenneT, has been head of information provision at SEP (TenneT’s predecessor) and occupied various management positions in the software industry. Besides his position at TenneT, he is also a member of the Supervisory Board of NOVEC B.V., a member of the Board of the Dutch association Netbeheer Nederland, a member of the Supervisory Board of Energie Data Services Nederland B.V. (EDSN) and a member of the Board of the Netherlands Association for Energy Data Exchange (Nedu).
Ben Voorhorst is a member of the Dutch National Cyber Security Council and represents the critical infrastructure sector. The Dutch National Cyber Security Council is installed to advise government and the private sector on relevant developments in the cyber security field.
